Can I collect my order?

Yes. You are welcome to collect your order from our Cape Town Studio. Recreate, 6 Stowe Street, Salt River.

How long will my order take to arrive?

South African deliveries should take 10 working days once we have received payment. We send every South African order via door-to-door courier, it is therefore difficult to give an exact delivery time. To find out a more accurate delivery time on your order, please contact us.

Can I place an order for a custom made product on this website?

As our custom made products are customized to the exact finishes that you want them (sometimes even with your very own precious treasures!) we would prefer to chat to you first to ensure your order is created perfectly just as you would like. So please contact us with your request and we will get back to you with a quote.

How do I order more than one product at a time?

Unfortunately this is not currently possible via our website. Please submit the orders individually, otherwise contact us with your request. We are soon upgrading our website to make this possible for you.

Why do I get this error message: “We were unable to find a match for your Postal Code and Suburb and therefore cannot provide a delivery estimate at this time“?

You may have entered a valid Postal Code and not selected a Suburb. Please go back and try again, entering both a valid Postal Code and then select a Suburb. If you repeatedly receive this message, please continue to provide your full delivery address and submit your order. We’ll then get back to you as soon as possible with a delivery quote.

Why do I get this error message: “We are unable to provide you with a delivery estimate at this time due to system failure

We’re unable to communicate with our courier’s online services. If you repeatedly receive this message, please continue to provide your full delivery address and submit your order. We’ll then get back to you as soon as possible with a delivery quote.

Can I return my order?

As each Recreate product is a one off individual piece, they may not be returned.

What if I received the wrong product?

In the unlikely event of the incorrect product being delivered, you need to notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the goods. Please email katie@recreate.za.net with a photo image of the incorrect product, if possible. Make sure to keep all original packaging. We will ensure the correct/new product is delivered to you.

Reproduction of these products in any manner or form will be considered copyright infringement.

Terms & Conditions

Purchases from Recreate will always be subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Goods purchased will only be released for delivery once the full purchase price and all related charges have been paid in full.
  2. Prices quoted on this website serve only as a guideline and are subject to change should any of the variable costs relating to the goods and/or delivery thereof change prior to collection of the consignment. In particular, should the actual chargeable weight or volumetric weight of the goods differ from that used when calculating the quoted price, then the quoted price will be adjusted accordingly. In all cases, the greater of either the actual mass or the volumetric weight will be taken into account in determining the final price payable.
  3. Prices are quoted in ZAR and are exclusive of any customs charges, V.A.T, insurance costs, taxes and duties, quarantine charges, storage charges, dangerous goods surcharges and any unforeseen expenses imposed by customs, the shipping and handling agents or any other parties.
  4. Any costs incurred due to delays resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation or the absence of specific documents required for a specific country will be for the client’s account.
  5. The price and any other amounts quoted are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges and the like.
  6. Should transit times be provided, these are intended to be a guideline only and are always subject to, inter alia, customs release delays, the availability of space and any other unforeseen factors.
  7. Lead time for custom made orders is approximately 10 – 12 weeks from date of receipt of signed order or deposit received, whichever is the later.
  8. A deposit of 50% is required for all custom made orders with the balance of the purchase price payable on completion.
  9. Recreate is not a VAT registered entity and accordingly, all prices quoted exclude VAT.
  10. Prices quoted are valid for 7 days or while existing stocks last, whichever is the shorter.
  11. Collection can be arranged for goods purchased online. Goods that are not collected within 14 days of the prescribed collection date will be charged a storage fee of R20.00 ZAR per day. Should an item not be collected within 30 days of having been requested to collect the item, Recreate has the right to sell the item to offset any costs.
  12. Although every precaution is taken to ensure safety of goods, Recreate will not be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur.
